¿Quién seré hoy?
in my Space, Environment, and Visualization course at FIT, i was told to create an exhibition inspired by a artist, designer, or famous figure of our choice. i chose Michelle Abundiz, also known as @thirrrsst on all social media platforms, gained her popularity by posting herself transforming into anything her heart desires through the power of makeup. from pulling inspiration from nature to her childhood, this exhibition explores the graceful complexity and eternal individuality of Abundiz’s works.
the project scope required me to create three thematic sub-themes that fall under the overarching theme–Michelle herself. additionally, i needed to develop moodboards for each sub-theme, gather up to ten physical and visual objects to complement them, and create a conceptual map. i was also required to produce both black and white and colorized storyboards, AI-generated inspiration, a graphic palette, and graphic collateral, including invitations and an informational poster. furthermore, i had to design various floor plans that highlight the locations of the phases with callouts for the specific objects. an isometric view of the exhibition, along with elevations, 3D hybrid drawings, and a final presentation poster summarizing the entire exhibition was also essential.
i utilized Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Sketchup to create this project.
